Sandwich & Wrap Menus & Lunch time Combinations

Although there are plentiful options for Lunch & Office catering, a sandwich seems to be the most common, practical and economical.

The word sandwich used today was born in London, England one night in 1762 when an English nobleman, John Montagu, the Fourth Earl of Sandwich (1718-1792), was too busy gambling to stop for a meal. The legend has it that he ordered a waiter to bring him roast-beef between two slices of bread. The Earl was able to continue his gambling while eating his snack; and from that incident, we have inherited that quick-food product that we now know as the sandwich.

Apparently he wanted the meat put on slices of bread so he wouldn’t get his fingers greasy while he was playing cards.

One thing is certain; you won’t have to gamble on our lunches. You’ll win every time.

The Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Grilled chicken with lemon and lime cilantro pesto, with salsa and shredded cheddar.

The Vegetarian Panini

Olive tapenade, grilled peppers, sautéed red onion and a goat cheese spread.

The Reuben

Served on rye bread, corned beef, Russian dressing, sauerkraut, turkey and Swiss cheese.

The Chicken Artichoke Panini

Served on a whole wheat ciabatta; artichoke spread, sundried tomato, basil, rotisserie chicken, shredded fontina and arugula.

The Fruit & Cheese Panini

Pear, brie, prosciutto, baby spinach served with and light honey walnut spread.

The Steak & Mushroom Panini

Steak, Portobello mushroom, caramelized sweet onions, roasted peppers, parmesan dressing.

The Turkey & Ham Panini

Turkey, ham, Goat cheese spread, sautéed red peppers, balsamic vinegar drizzle.

The Eggplant Sandwich

Grilled Eggplant with pesto and parmesan spread on ciabatta bread.

The New England

Roasted Turkey, Bacon, and Havarti Cheese with Cranberry Chipotle Sauce on rye.

The Caprese

Fresh tomato, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil and extra-virgin olive oil on focaccia breads.

The Tuna Sandwich

Traditional tuna, packed in water, served on rye bread and mixed with mayonnaise, red onion, celery and a touch of extra-virgin olive oil, garnished with bruschetta-style tomatoes.

The Egg-Salad

Traditional egg salad prepared with light mayonnaise and served on whole wheat breads.

 

The Wraps

The Middle Eastern Wrap

Served on a whole wheat wrap filled with; diced tomato, tuna, mayo, hummus, sesame oil and green onion.

Note: Vegetarian option available.

The Chicken Caesar Wrap

Grilled chicken with; romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, sliced bacon.

Turkey Wrap

Smoked Turkey with; monetary jack cheese, smoke house bacon, red leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, paprika and mayo.

The Veggie Wrap (vegetarian)

Grilled asparagus, leaf lettuce, feta cheese, red peppers, jalapeños, brie cheese spread.

The Antipasto Wrap

Prosciutto, Genoa salami, provolone, plum tomato, grilled zucchini, roasted peppers, and mixed greens.

The Veggie-Burrito (vegetarian)

Flavoured flatbreads filled with black turtle beans, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, cucumber, black olives and homemade salsa.

The Malaise Wrap

Malaysian curried chicken mixed with fresh yoghurt, chutney curry and cilantro.

Choose (1) item for groups of 10 or less. Choose two salads to be split for groups of ten or more.

  • Mixed greens (mesculin mix) served with assorted seasonal vegetables and our own homemade honey-balsamic vinaigrette
  • Penne Pasta salad with julienne snow peas, red pepper, red onions, spinach, basil in a creamy green onion dressing
  • Spinach Caprese Salad with seasonal diced vegetables, boccancini cheese and a blue cheese and poppy seed dressing
  • Caesar Salad with romaine lettuce, lemon, and fresh grated Parmesan cheeses, homemade croutons and bacon bits
  • Mandarin orange and nut salad prepared with romaine lettuce and a poppy seed vinaigrette
  • Waldorf salad, prepared with fresh apples, raisins, lemon juice, celery, walnuts, sugar and mayonnaise
  • A Greek tomato cucumber salad with black olives, feta cheese and artichoke hearts
  • Summer Cous Cous with seasoned vegetables

Th’In Your Prime

Prime rib au jus, served with fresh horseradish; choice of potato; steamed green and yellow beans and a mixed green salad (mesculin mix).

The Filet Up

Fresh Atlantic salmon filet, prepared and baked in our own special orange citrus marinade, served with a Chinese egg noodle dish, complete with seasonal vegetables flavoured in Asian oils and spices, soy and ginger and served with a black bean salad.

The Way Mama Makes

Chicken or veal parmigiana in a traditional Italian basil-red sauce, accompanied by pasta tossed with a roasted red pepper and pesto sauce, grilled, seasonal vegetables and served with a spinach caprese salad with gorgonzola cheese, walnut poppy-seed dressing and seasonal diced vegetables.

The “Chick”-in-Us”

Curried chicken prepared with green onions and peppers, served alongside traditional couscous and mixed vegetables, finished with a cauliflower lemon salad with tomatoes, fresh parley and oregano and extra-virgin olive oil.

“The Pork & Beans”

On The Move marinated pork chops, served with an apple-cranberry salsa, fusilli pasta in a cream sauce prepared with porcini mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes and a cold string beans salad with a cool and fresh dressing.

Chicken saltimbocca (seared chicken breast) topped with fontina cheese and prosciutto and baked in a marsala sauce, served with Caesar salad and seasonal grilled vegetables.

The Lil’India

Tender morsels of fresh chicken breast prepared in the creamiest, most delectable of butter chicken sauce served with Korma, basmati rice and naan bread.

The Comfort Food

Home-style meat loaf baked with red onions and bell peppers, seasoning and served with seasonal grilled or steamed vegetables and a garden fresh, mixed green salad with seasonal diced vegetables.
